eBay said today it is launching a new microsite eBay Fashion that will sell clothing, shoes and accessories.

eBay Fashion offers a more visual shopping experience that highlights the selection of new, vintage, branded and designer merchandise available on eBay.

Users can click on a "Fashion Tab" in the top navigation on the eBay homepage. Users can shop by brand, category, similar items or trends. eBay has added new image search technology that allows users to choose an item and a "More Like This" feature displays other items that are similar in color, shape, and pattern.

"eBay Fashion delivers a visually rich and easy-to-navigate shopping experience for savvy style seekers and bargain hunters alike, making it simple to browse and buy from the world's largest online selection of new, used and vintage clothing, shoes and accessories," said Lorrie Norrington, president of eBay Marketplaces.

"So whether you want to shop for leading fashion brands, or buy from a trusted eBay seller with an eye for vintage clothes and the perfect accessories, eBay Fashion is a one-stop destination for style and value."

eBay Fashion will also offer a new feature that provides more access to new, fixed price, brand name clothing, shoes and accessories. The recently launched eBay Fashion Vault offers users "Buy It Now" access to new, direct-from-brand merchandise at discounts for a limited time while inventory lasts.
