Rohit Khare, founder of Angstro - a news site that catered to business professionals by filtering and displaying information deemed pertinent based on a user's social graph, announced on the the company's homepage yesterday that they have been purchased by Google as of yesterday. Also, according to the L.A. Times article , Khare has been hired by Google to help them develop their social networking project - Google Me.
