Apple announced that it has sold over 1.7 million iPhone 4s, as of Saturday, June 26th. It only launched on June 24th. "This is the most successful product launch in Apples history," said Steve Jobs, Apples CEO. "Even so, we apologize to those customers who were turned away because we did not have enough supply." On Friday, analysts had estimated sales of about 1.5 million for the first day, with 77% of them coming from upgrades, according to one Piper Jaffray analyst.
