Verizon Droid Offer Paves the Way for the Droid 2
June 24, 2010, 8:01 pmEarlier this week I wrote pieces previewing the Droid X launch , which came to pass June 23, and the Droid 2 , which did not. Nothing, not a word was breathed about the Droid 2. No one even asked! I'm ashamed of myself and the other reporters, bloggers and analysts in the room at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City. We had Verizon Wireless EVP and CMO John Stratton, Motorola Co-CEO Sanjay Jha, and Android creator Andy Rubin on stage and couldn't find out about the Droid 2.
